This EP is largely about rediscovering your own strength and trusting your own abilities—so for the first time, I tasked myself with helming my own art direction. I reached out to Stephen Halker, mastermind behind all San Fermin's gorgeous album artwork, to do my new logo—then I went to work incorporating it with Shervin Lainez's photography. I don't have synesthesia (to my knowledge), but I kept coming back to this mustard yellow—there was something about the cheeriness of it juxtaposed with the aggression of the songs that tickled me. Incidentally, the yellow is also relevant to my pride to be an Asian American pop musician, though I didn’t realize that until later.
